What is Tixel?
The easiest way to explain Tixel is to say it rejuvenates your skin with magical Thermo-Mechanical Ablation (TMA) technology. It uses heat to stimulate your collagen formation and help reduce skin issues. Tixel is amazing at leveling out skin town, lessening pigment spots, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It isn’t invasive, so it’s perfect to use on your tear troughs and eyelids.
What Does Tixel Treat?
We use Tixel for multiple skin concerns, including:

Tixel Expectations
After your Tixel treatment, you may notice a bit of redness, sensitivity, and swelling in the area. It should heal in three to four days. We recommend applying a fragrance-free moisturizer every six hours. It’s best not to wash your face, wear make-up, or touch the area for 24 hours. We will work with you to determine the best times for Tixel sessions for optimal results.
The Tixel Difference
We love lasers for their different effects on the skin. Tixel stands out from other treatments because it’s all about simple heat. It uses regulated heat without burning the skin’s surface. Tixel is comfortable for most patients because the heating is considered more superficial than with lasers. Here’s how Tixel works:
First, it starts to promote collagen production and enhanced skin tightening.
Second, it makes little skin channels to boost the topical product absorption.
We stamp a tiny 1 cm square titanium plate pattern to apply the heat. The tiny pulses treat each area of the skin. Best of all, the smaller treatment zones minimize your skin sensitivity. The various settings let us choose the level of penetration into the skin. We are able to customize Tixel treatment based on the area being treated, your skin type, and the goal.
